I would be hard pressed. I don't have any insider information. I'd be hard pressed to argue that they are not going to come out with some version of a long running agent on an OpenClaw competitor or clone or a version of that that also does that on the cloud.
I could use a little bit of work I think it's got a little bit of the Web 2.0 as opposed to web 3.0 feel I would like to see big bold photos as opposed to little tiny photos but I think that's a transition that's easily made
idea is great direct it's a fine platform it's a it's a novel platform and what would you give that on a scale once though um yeah this is the stuff that people like Dave like to invest in and it's I would call it it's an it's an eight of an idea I gave it eight and a half so it's a great idea
it's a seven it's a seven no why is it only only a seven some people might say hey that was a very clear pitch it was a very clear pitch because it's hard to get excited about Vanilla Ice
I felt this pitch was um vanilla it was a vanilla pitch I I give it a seven 75
I expected a much different price and I it feels like a huge mistake but maybe they're just going to drop the price post Christmas and they're just going to price gouge people for the next 90 days

I two years from now, I think you buy it now at 120 just in the 120s. You buy it as a share, as a stockholder, as a trader. Yes. Because it's going to get bought by Amazon. It It has to go up from here. Has to get bought by But two years from now, is it an independent company or is it part of another company?
there's two pieces the customer side and then the merchant side and the customer obviously has liked it historically but I feel like customers because of the volume of it are starting to become a little less the Novelties wearing off that's a kind of a key issue right because now Google's got in the game and everyone's got in the game game there's too many deals and the deals aren't as compelling right
they're just so far behind
for the merchants it's now become a bit more of a you have a lot of places to choose from now in terms of who you're doing these deals with they used to kind of just be Groupon was the one the enemy Groupon LivingSocial nowadays everybody ... now that the monopoly is out of the bag now that the margin pressures that calm and then that makes this accounting look even more challenged
yeah because now Google's got it in the game and everyone's got another game there's too many deals else aren't as compelling right
I feel like customers because of the volume of it are starting to become a little less the novelty is wearing off that's a kind of a key issue
they absolutely nailed the number one pain point that people have with Facebook which is the ease of organizing into groups.
I would put it at a 8.5. I see. I'm with you, Tyler. I'm going to take the contrarian position here. I think that this is brilliant.
Facebook is announcing a press event around this new thing and the the rumor mill is that it's the video video chat Skype integration. Um, okay. I don't think that would be so exciting.

that person made the comment that the biggest mistake they had ever made was their IPO by going in point being of going public at all
And then it's the second part is I don't think it's going to be you searching on Google and getting the deal on your laptop. What really matters is who's going to have the better mobile experience for pushing delivering the realtime deal. And Groupon has a proposed one where you take it out and you say it gives you a list of behaviors.
which is why Groupon has 8,000 employees because they have to the handholding is amazing for local business. It's not in Google's DNA to do that handholding conventionally, right?
I have. Yeah. I love it.
it seems like this that would be the inevitable addition to this offering which is and it touches on Liz's Point like get the bundled connectivity through Verizon and the laptop is free and you know something yeah it's interesting almost maybe for five dollars more a month you could make that happen
I think he's going to get lost at adtech. There's too much competition. Don't I think going to an adtech and or some conference like that, you'll be just lost in translation.
they have the Google URL shortener which contains enormous social data from all of my friends and contacts and they've only achieved about I think it's about 3% of that market when they've gone all out like they've tried to create a product better than bitley they've they've miserably failed so far at the date I mean bitly has about 70% of that URL shortening market and I think the same thing's going to happen here they're just not going to know what what to do with this data
it's really strange because they have so much data they know the links you're emailing and they could they could surface that in my search they know that you and I are friends because of Gmail and you're emailing out these links why don't I see your face next to those links that when they appear in search results they can do stuff far more Innovative far more like impressive if yeah but they're [ __ ] footing with this me too like after the fact plus one stuff
this isn't the first time that Google has responded to the percolation in the SEO Community chitchatting about whatever we've seen them react to that more than once
they just keep paying to see a flop but they never want to push the chips all in
they could do stuff far more Innovative far more like impressive but they're [ __ ] footing with this me too like after the fact plus one stuff
arguably the most important acquisition they've ever made YouTube would be the only one that anybody could say even compares to applied semantics in terms of the impact on the company
it's looking like the lines might cross again
Andrew uh the CEO of Groupon did a great job
