the interesting thing is that you can say certain words on YouTube, but you can't say, they have them ranked, and the rules change all the time. And you don't find out that the rules at YouTube have changed until your producer goes, they just demonetized the episode. We got a couple strikes. And it's been out for an hour and a half, which is when everybody's going to see the episode, or the age restriction is a killer, because almost... Yeah, we got hit
you just actually saw um in this last week uh the CEO I believe it was of Axel Springer which is one of the large uh Publishers in Germany write an open letter uh to Eric Schmidt ... talking about the the challenges and and the the fear of Google having far too much power in the in in this space and being able to be a kind of King maker in this regard
Titan drones they're really really good for being able to get internet into kind of hard to find places so it's just a consistent part of their strategy it seems
this to me is something that's been a very consistent strategy uh for them for a very long time which is to own everything between uh the person and the actual and and the search itself and the and the access to Google's information
video video for everyone in general and and YouTube is part of that is is huge for Publishers uh particularly because that's pretty much the only inventory that's Rel sold out for everyone uh as they go that's the thing they have no problem with this for me is is very smart in in part for not just for kind of building the audiences but for the advertising perspective in that when ad sales guys are going to talk to agencies and so forth they can talk about a TV show and the agency even if they ha
as opposed to like waiting for Apple to give you like with Cortana one of the things you can do is if you go through and you say I'm looking for Netflix films or whatever or I think Netflix it's like uh that the popcorn film place or whatever I can't Metacritic or Rotten Tomatoes or it's something like that it's like a Fandango it launches the app and and Facebook the same way it will launch the Facebook app
Yelp is connected with Siri is it yeah oh because I I but it doesn't launch the app right it does like a Google search
the reason Siri sucks and nobody uses it is because they're not letting the other app developers into Siri to do the hard work for them
I don't use Siri anymore I was it's the reason I got my fors when I uh when I got it I was obsessed with it for an entire day and then got got got too frustrated with it actually kind of not really working
this is is very smart in in part for not just for kind of building the audiences but for the advertising perspective
