if they lose what you're calling the creatives the core people that have kept them going decade after decade after decade those people will move to an operating system known as Windows if they're already unfortunate but yes it's about all that's left to them right and if they were to move off of it they would start making apps for those platforms that be a disaster
no impact on the US market yeah now the US market is just go go go go go I think o US regulators release which it was happening
this seems to me to be perfectly reasonable and this should be coming first... on a freeway then it's really very dull and very simple driving and you know if you can get there particularly with something like a Walmart if you can get these in slipstream formation the fuel savings were even higher
if they lose what you're calling the creatives the core people that have kept them going decade after decade after decade those people will move to an operating system known as Windows
the cost savings on this could be twenty thirty percent I think Ilan said it would be at least twenty percent cost savings I named it be more so if it's thirty percent cost savings there's no reason not to invest in it
Facebook will launch a paid service to make up for revenue loss from taking less data.
What happened: Meta (formerly Facebook) did not introduce a general paid subscription service to replace ad revenue; it continued to rely on advertising, with only limited paid features for creators rather than a broad paid user tier.
Verify at source ↗nobody really screwed up well which is always a plus in these sort of things but at the end of the day you know they've been so highly proud it's so highly media trained about this that they'll have they'll get a question you can almost see flicking through the mental files and then okay this is the answer we get right edits it's all very anodyne and it's it's a public spectacle rather than trying to get stuff seriously sorted
that's something that Microsoft understood really well
when I say hey Alexa play John Mayer on Spotify it just works like instantly
developers have to figure how to make money right and that was a thing that anybody figured out how to make money office skill because we just built one for the angel podcast we do sorry I should say somebody built it for us I gave them permission but I mean Ellis skill right there okay so this is where I have a prior to information but I will say that there will be monetization yeah in the future yeah so you'll be able to pay for a skill you'll be able to do a number of things you'll be able to
for Amazon the other thing that they need to do is they need to get developers building ah for their platform
Amazon makes their own and they partner
building a platform like this is really hard
Amazon particularly remember they tried to introduce a phone the fire phone yeah went that was a huge disaster for them and they their own iPad the tablets the tablets actually done okay people like to read books on yeah but they but they haven't this is the the Alexa is their opportunity to have a platform an operating system and something for developers to build on top of it's working and it seems to be working
Amazon Alexa is faster yeah then actually using your hand
if I had to guess there's something related to the Siri implementation
I think that Apple became complacent and lost ground.
it's exactly that it's the same thing that McLaren are doing and bagasse you're doing that's the thing you create an insanely beautiful supercar with with incredibly high stats you make sure they're pretty much all pre-cell pre pre sold for the first couple of years and it drives an enormous amount of interest
the specs are simply phenomenal... this can go zero to sixty in 1.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250 miles per hour zero to 100 and 4.2 seconds and it has a two hundred kilowatt battery that goes 620 miles three of the motors
this seems to me to be perfectly reasonable and this should be coming first... on a freeway then it's really very dull and very simple driving and you know if you can get there particularly with something like a Walmart if you can get these in slipstream formation the fuel savings were even higher
the cost savings on this could be twenty thirty percent I think Ilan said it would be at least twenty percent cost savings I named it be more so if it's thirty percent cost savings there's no reason not to invest in it
it all depends on how expensive they are yeah and whether the superderek charging stations work
it's an interesting space fool but actually mechanically it makes a certain amount of sense... it seems like a no-brainer because Tesla's unlike a regular car they don't have oil and these other things to be replaced brake pads etc like it just regenerative braking so for a car that's or for a vehicle that's operating consistently it's kind of built for that
Amazon is taking over pieces of our life which have to do with what we buy and right they all my clothes Scottevest says his sales everywhere else are going down his sales on Amazon are going up
your amazon owns my kitchen right I do pretty much they know what what we buy right
it makes instacart counter-intuitively a valuable asset for people who are desperate to fend off Amazon so maybe target or Kroger's or Walmart says you know what we need to build a block
it's still small price to pay it's still clear not having being Yahoo or DuckDuckGo or anybody else will compete with them
no impact on the US market yeah now the US market is just go go go go go I think o US regulators release which it was happening
it's a useful kick and companies do occasionally need these kicks just to play by the rules a little bit better
they could have fight I think the limit for the EU for this kind of fine is ten percent of turnover so experiment being or yo'ii income yeah so it could have been a nine billion dollar fine as it was they got rid of go away reasonably easily
this stems back to about seven years ago and the Google Shopping results and what the EU found after going through the data again again again was that Google was consistently promoting its own search results over that of smaller competitors it was abusing its market position
they just got a two point seven billion dollar fine which by the way is less than their profit for a quarter
for the base level AR spec they are AR experience you're looking 2018 probably 2019 in fact for developers to get that backside into gear and get this stuff really working
is this going to be another Apple close garden because if so they're just also the whole thing of course it is
you see this reminds me an awful lot of the early days of Microsoft you know when Microsoft came up with Microsoft Word 1.0 it was basically a less functional ripoff of Wordpress perfect sorry Word Perfect yeah um and same thing with lotus 23 and spreadsheets and various others and the fact is it works for a limited period it works yeah you get a reputation for being some of the worst guys in the industry yes you screw over a lot of people but you know at the end of the day it pads the bottom li
these are commercial drones not DJI drones so they probably go a little further right that's right they can have larger batteries
if they lose what you're calling the creatives the core people that have kept them going decade after decade after decade those people will move to an operating system known as Windows
Google speaks to us a fair bit
number three honestly it's got to be leadership ... Tim Cook is a fantastic operations guy but he doesn't have that kind of iron grip that Steve Jobs had Johnny IV appears to be going completely off the rails
number two we've already kind of touched on it's got to be dongles ... what is the point of having you know an ultr slim laptop or a nice light like pad if you've got to carry around a little bag full of dongles
if they lose what you're calling the creatives the core people that have kept them going decade after decade after decade those people will move to an operating system known as Windows if they're already unfortunate but yes it's about all that's left to them right and if they were to move off of it they would start making apps for those platforms that be a disaster
the MacBook was a spectacular disaster and also did it take them four years exactly to upgrade it what would they do to downgrade it the only to the only explanation I can think of is that they're consciously or or unconsciously trying to kill off the MacBook line so they concentrate entirely on iOS
Apple we've been on a blacklist now for over I think it's 10 years so Steve Jobs said iay on the register too honest oh just nowhere I mean absolutely not even invited to Keynotes absolutely not
